Vitamin D 1000 IU
by Ortho Molecular Products Vitamin D is a steroid hormone that has long been known for its important role in regulating body levels of calcium and phosphorus, and in mineralization of bone. More recently, it has become clear that receptors for vitamin D are present in a wide variety of cells, and that this hormone has biologic effects which extend far beyond control of mineral metabolism. It is implicated in regulation of immunity, mood, and metabolism One capsule contains: Vitamin D3 (as Cholecalciferol) 1,000 IU. Other ingredients: Natural vegetable capsules, magnesium stearate and microcrystalline cellulose. This product is formulated to be free of the following: Gluten, corn, egg, dairy, peanuts, soy, yeast, artificial colors and flavors. Suggested use: As a dietary supplement, 1 or more capsules per day or as recommended by your health care professional.
