Natural D3 2000 IU's
by Protocol For Life Balance Vitamin D3 softgels supply this key vitamin in a highly absorbable liquid softgel form. Vitamin D3 is converted by the kidneys into the hormone calcitriol, the activated form of Vitamin D. Vitamin D is normally obtained from the diet or produced by the skin from the ultraviolet energy of the sun. However, it is not abundant in food. As more people avoid sun exposure, Vitamin D supplementation becomes even more necessary to ensure receiving an adequate supply. Vitamin D enhances the uptake of calcium from the diet, is necessary for bone health, regulates immune actions and supports healthy cell division. One softgel contains: Vitamin D-3 (as Cholecalciferol) 2000 IU. Other ingredients: Olive Oil, Softgel Capsule (gelatin, glycerin, water) and Corn Oil. Suggested use: As a dietary supplement, take one softgel daily with a meal.
