by Essential Formulas Dr. Ohhira's Probiotics 12 PLUS is a high technology, 21st Century, symbiotic product containing 12 strains of friendly bacteria (probiotics), naturally occurring FOS (prebiotic nutrient important to intestinal well-being), 4 organic acids (helps establish the proper pH environment in the colon) and important micronutrients, including vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Hand-gathered from the mountains and carefully harvested from the seas of Japan, various vegetables, fruits, seaweeds, roots, mushrooms, barks, leaves and herbs are blended using ancient Japanese traditions and fermented for five years to produce an award-winning, totally vegetarian product. It restores the balance of intestinal microflora so important to healthy immune system and overall good health. Dr. lichiroh Ohhira, an award-winning microbiologist from Japan, is the formulator of the product and the special E. faecalis TH 10 strain of lactic acid bacteria (available only in Dr. Ohhira's Probiotics 12 Plus), which has been scientifically established to be 6.25 times stronger than any other bacteria known to bacteriologist. Minerals: Calcium 176.0, Iron 4.9, Phosphorus 173.0, Magnesium 0.0446, Zinc 0.676, Manganese 263.0, Sodium 337.0, Potassium 538.0. Amino Acids: Alanine 0.31, Arginine 0.25, Aspartic acid 0.87, Cystine 0.08, Glutamic acid 1.63, Glycine 0.23, Histidine 0.22, Isoleucine 0.39, Leucine 0.71, Lysine 0.34, Methionine 0.14, Phenylalanine 0.38, Proline 0.67, Serine 0.43, Threonine 0.35, Tryptophan 0.09, Tyrosine 0.22, Valine 0.47. Lactic Acid Bacteria Strains: Bifidobacterium breve ss. Breve, Bifidobacterium infantis ss. Infantis, Bifidobacterium longum, Enterococcus faecalis TH 10, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus brevis, Lactobacillus bulgariucus, Lactobacillus casei ss. Casei, Lactobacillus fermentum, Lactobacillus helveticus ss. Jagurti, Lactobacillus plantarum, Streptcoccus thermophilus. (Actual levels of vitamins, minerals and amino acids may vary slightly among batches due to natural variations of ingredients.) Other ingredients: Lychium Chinese, Vitis coignetiae, Myrica rubra, Laminaria japonica, Morus australis, Rubus buergeri, Akebia quinata, Elaeagnus montana, Hizika fusiforme, Aritemisia montana, Plantago asiatica, Water. This product is 100 percent natural and totally vegetarian, including the capsule material.
