Lutein
by Carlson Laboratories Lutein and Zeaxanthin are carotenoids supplied supply by fruits and vegetables which are important to vision. The eye contains concentrated amounts of lutein and small amounts of zeaxanthin in and around the macula. Carlson provides FloraGLO lutein, with naturally occurring zeaxanthin extracted from marigold flowers, in easy-to-swallow soft gels. Vitamin E has been added to protect freshness. One soft gel contains: Vitamin E (as d-alpha tocopherol) 1 IU, Lutein 6 mg, Zeaxanthin 264 mcg. Other ingredients: Safflower oil, gelatin, glycerin, water, beeswax. This product is free of natural color, sugar, and preservatives. Suggested use: Take 1 soft gel daily at mealtime.
