Maxi Gamma Tocopherols

by Yasoo Health Inc.

The Vitamin E Factor Maxi-Gamma Tocopherols provides 100% natural mixed tocopherols, not esterified, not methylated. It is rich in the natural d-gamma-tocopherol.

Gamma-Tocopherol is the effective form that fights nitrogen free radicals. Recent research suggests that gamma-tocopherol is more effective than alpha-tocopherol in reducing inflammation. A metabolite of gamma-tocopherol is also effective in reducing inflammation. This effect of gamma-tocopherol may be important in prevention of cancer. An epidemiological study by researchers at Johns Hopkins University indicated that men with high blood levels of gamma-tocopherol had a lower risk of prostate cancer. A metabolite of gamma-tocopherol appears to help regulate the fluid and electrolytes that pass through the kidney.

Gamma-Tocopherol is more effective than alpha-tocopherol in increasing the activity of the antioxidant enzyme superoxide dismutase (SOD) in plasma and arterial tissues. gamma-Tocopherol increases nitrogen oxide generation which helps support healthy arterial function.
